    on lake superior, we have a lighthouse upon Stannard's rock….likely not as far from the shore as yours. I have heard of caravan saray when I was in Turkey in the late 1950s

    We do need it already, but we don't have the social structure to make it work. Too many war torn regions would prevent the necessary distribution of seeds. And who would protect planted crops from warlords around the world? It will never be used for an apocalypse.

    Svalbard vault remote? You can se it from the town of Longyearbyen. Witch has an international airport, modern hotels, tourism, polar bears…

    Definitely visit the Jungfraujoch Sphinx Observatory when in Switzerland. There are day trips from Zurich. You need to plan ahead. It was one of the highlights of my trip several years ago.
